The following policies, terms and conditions apply to reservations made directly with Mount Hotels through our website, reservation office, hotels or other authorised direct booking channels.
Specific promotional offers, packages, group bookings, contracted rates or special reservations may carry separate terms and conditions. Where a specific policy is mentioned in the **Reservation Confirmation**, the terms mentioned in that confirmation shall prevail.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation terms are determined based on the number of rooms booked under the same reservation, group or associated booking.
Bookings of 1 to 5 Rooms
Guests may cancel their reservation without cancellation charges if the cancellation is made at least **7 days prior to the scheduled check-in date**.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled check-in date may attract cancellation charges up to **100% of the total booking value**, depending on the applicable reservation terms.
Bookings of 6 to 15 Rooms
Guests may cancel their reservation without cancellation charges if the cancellation is made at least **15 days prior to the scheduled check-in date**.
Cancellations made less than 15 days before the scheduled check-in date may attract partial or full retention charges as specified in the Reservation Confirmation.
Bookings of 11 to 15 Rooms
Guests may cancel their reservation without cancellation charges if the cancellation is made at least **20 days prior to the scheduled check-in date**.
Cancellations made less than 20 days before the scheduled check-in date may attract partial or full retention charges as specified in the Reservation Confirmation.
Bookings of More Than 15 Rooms
Guests must cancel the reservation at least **30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date** to avoid cancellation charges.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled check-in date may attract partial or full retention charges in accordance with the applicable group booking terms.
No-Show Policy
In case of a no-show, or where the guest fails to arrive without cancelling the reservation within the applicable cancellation period, Mount Hotels reserves the right to charge up to **100% of the total booking value**.
Early Departure & Stay Reduction
Any reduction in the number of rooms, number of nights or confirmed stay duration may be treated as a partial cancellation.
Applicable cancellation or retention charges may therefore apply to the reduced portion of the reservation.
Refunds
Where a refund has been approved by Mount Hotels, the refund will generally be initiated within **9–15 working days**.
The actual time required for the refunded amount to reflect in the guest's bank account, credit card, debit card or payment instrument may vary depending on the issuing bank, payment gateway or financial institution.
Any applicable payment gateway, banking or transaction charges that are non-refundable by the payment provider may be deducted where applicable.
Reservation & Booking Guarantee
A reservation may require an advance payment or valid payment guarantee to be considered confirmed.
Unless otherwise specified in the applicable rate plan or Reservation Confirmation, Mount Hotels may require an advance equivalent to:
- One night's room charge; or
- 50% of the total reservation value,
Mount Hotels reserves the right to release an unguaranteed reservation where the required payment or booking guarantee has not been received within the communicated deadline.
A reservation shall be considered confirmed only after an official Reservation Confirmation has been issued by Mount Hotels.
Rate Inclusions
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, standard room rates generally include:
- Accommodation in the confirmed room category
- Breakfast for up to two registered adult occupants
Guests are requested to refer to their Reservation Confirmation for exact inclusions.
Payment Policy
Payments may be made using approved payment methods including:
- Credit Card

- UPI or other approved digital payment methods

Failure to make payment within the specified period may result in cancellation or release of the reservation.
Taxes & Statutory Charges
All applicable taxes, government levies and statutory charges shall be charged according to prevailing regulations.
Where taxes or statutory charges are revised by the Government or any competent authority after a reservation has been made, the revised applicable amount may be charged accordingly.

Guests requiring guaranteed early check-in are advised to reserve the room from the previous night.
Guests requiring a late check-out should contact the hotel in advance. Approval will depend upon availability and the individual hotel's prevailing policy.

All guests must present valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in.

Guest & Room Occupancy Policy
Most standard rooms at Mount Hotels are designed primarily for double occupancy.
Depending on the room category and hotel, selected rooms may accommodate an additional guest with an extra bed, mattress or approved sleeping arrangement.
The maximum permitted occupancy of the booked room category must not be exceeded.
Guests are responsible for accurately declaring the number and age of all occupants at the time of reservation.
Child Policy
Unless otherwise specified in the selected rate plan:
Children Below 5 Years
Up to two children below 5 years of age may share the existing bed with their parents or guardians on a complimentary accommodation basis.
Meal charges may apply depending upon the selected meal plan.
Children Between 5 and 12 Years
Children between 5 and 12 years may attract additional accommodation and/or meal charges.
Guests Aged 12 Years and Above
Guests aged 12 years and above will generally be considered adults for room occupancy and additional guest charges.
Extra-bed charges will apply wherever an additional bed is required.

Reservation Modification Policy
Requests to modify an existing reservation are subject to availability and the applicable terms of the original booking.
Modifications may include changes to:
- Stay dates
- Number of nights
- Number of rooms
- Number of guests
- Room category
- Meal plan
- Guest details
A modification shall be considered confirmed only after an updated Reservation Confirmation has been issued by Mount Hotels.
Stay Extension
Extension of stay is subject to room availability.
Additional nights will be offered at the rate available at the time the extension request is made.
If the original promotional offer or rate has expired or is no longer available, Mount Hotels is not obligated to extend the original rate to the additional nights.
Delayed or Disrupted Travel
Flight cancellations, train cancellations, road closures, weather conditions, strikes, transportation delays or other unforeseen circumstances affecting a guest's journey do not automatically result in a waiver of hotel cancellation charges.
The cancellation policy applicable to the reservation will continue to apply unless Mount Hotels specifically confirms otherwise in writing.
Guests are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance for unforeseen travel disruptions.
Offers, Discounts & Promotions
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise:
Two or more discounts, promotional offers, coupons, memberships or special benefits cannot be combined on the same reservation.
Every promotional offer is subject to:

- Minimum stay requirements

Travel Agent Commission
Eligible and authorised travel agents may receive commission on qualifying published rates where specifically applicable.
Commission eligibility, percentage and settlement terms must be confirmed at the time of reservation.
Negotiated, contracted, promotional, package and net rates may be non-commissionable unless otherwise agreed.
Currency & Payments
All hotel payments in India are settled in **Indian Rupees (INR)** unless specifically agreed otherwise.
