Cancellation & Refund Policy

MOUNT HOTELS

  • Free cancellation if the booking is canceled 07 or more days before the check-in date. However if the booking is cancelled after the free cancellation period is over, then the full amount will be charged as retention charges.

  • In case of any Refunds approved by the MOUNT HOTELS, it’ll take 9-15 days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

Terms & Conditions

Standard Rate Inclusions: All our rates are inclusive of accommodation in a spacious and elegantly appointed room and breakfast for two adults.

Standard Guarantee Policy: A credit card authorisation or an advance deposit equivalent to 1-night stay amount or 50% of the total stay amount, whichever is higher, is required at the time of making the reservation as a guarantee to hold the reservation on a confirmed basis.

Standard Modification/Cancellation Policy: Modification or cancellation made 15 or days prior to the arrival date shall not incur any cancellation charges. Modification in the form of stay reduction or cancellation made between 15 to 3 days before the arrival date shall incur cancellation charges equivalent to 1-night stay amount or 50% of the total stay amount, whichever is higher. Modification in the form of stay reduction or cancellation made between 3 to 0 days before the arrival date shall incur cancellation charges equivalent to 100% of the total cancelled stay amount.

PS: All standard Policies are applicable when a specific reservation policy is not mentioned in the “Reservation Confirmation” document.

Payment Policy: Payment can be made using the credit card, payment gateway link, deposit in the bank account or demand draft before the due date.

Applicable Taxes: Taxes are as applicable at the time of reservation.

Arrival & Departure Policy: Check-in time is 1400 hours while Check-out time is 1200 hours for all Mount Hotels & Resorts. Early check-in and late check-out are chargeable as per the hotel policy. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. Such documents can be either an Indian Aadhaar Card, Indian Driver’s License, Indian Voter ID card, or Indian or International passport. PAN cards are not accepted. Mount Hotels reserves the right to refuse check-in in the absence of a valid identification document.

Extra Guest Policy: Mount Hotels operates only on a double occupancy per room basis with a maximum occupancy of up to 3 guests. Extra guests above the age of 12 years being accommodated in the same room along with two adults, taking an extra bed may be accommodated at a charge. This policy is applicable for reservations in Deluxe Rooms, Premium Rooms, and Suite Rooms. Family Rooms at Mount Hotels, however, can accommodate up to 4 guests above the age of 12 years.

Child Policy: Child Sharing for up to two children below 5 years without an extra bed is complimentary. Child Sharing for 1 child above 5 years without an extra bed is charged only for meals and stay. In case of a requirement for an extra bed in the room, charges shall be the same as adult guest-sharing charges.

Extra Lunch/Dinner Charges mentioned above are only for extra occupants and not for main room occupants.

Delay in Travel Policy: In case of guest-facing delay or cancellation of a flight, train or road trip due to any unforeseen reason, the room cancellation charges will remain applicable as per the applicable cancellation policy. Such unforeseen trip cancellation may not be manifested as the waiver of cancellation charges by any Mount Hotels.

Currency Converter: Currency conversion data is provided by XE, a third-party currency conversion provider, using live mid-market rates. This information is offered for informational purposes only and does not reflect the rate you will pay to the hotel or the currency in which such payment will be made. All payments will have to be made in Indian rupees.

Standard Discount Policy: No two discounts/offers/benefits can be clubbed together.

TA Commission Policy: Travel Agents registered with IATA can claim a 10% commission on public rates at the time of booking the room reservation only.

Stay Extension: An extension of stay at the hotel is liable to be offered at a rate/offer applicable at the time the extension request is made. In case, the original offer at which the reservation was booked has expired at that time, the hotel is not liable to offer a room at the original rates but at current rates on offer.

Rights Reserved:

  • Mount Hotels reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation without prior information.

  • Mount Hotels reserves the right to refuse check-in in the absence of a valid identification document.

  • Quarantine protocols are being followed as per local government authorities

  • Guests from containment zones are not allowed

  • Shared resources in common areas are properly sanitized

  • Property staff is trained on hygiene guidelines

  • Guests with fever are not allowed

  • Only those guests with safe status on the Aarogya Setu app are allowed

  • Hand sanitizer is not provided in guest accommodation and common areas

Guest Profile:

  • Unmarried couples allowed

  • Bachelors allowed

  • Guests below 18 years of age are allowed

  • Suitable for children

Room Safety and Hygiene:

  • Hand sanitizers are not available in the rooms

Payment Related:

  • Credit/debit cards are accepted

  • Master Card and Visa cards are accepted

Food Arrangement:

  • Non-veg food is allowed

  • Outside food is not allowed

Food & Drinks Hygiene

  • COVID-19 guidelines for Food Hygiene are followed as per government guidelines

  • Social distancing is followed in restaurants

  • Serve ware and supplies are sanitized before they are brought to the kitchen

Smoking/Alcohol Consumption Rules:

  • Smoking within the premises is allowed

Property Accessibility

  • The property is Elderly-friendly/Disabled-friendly

  • The property has a wide entryway

Pet(s) Related:

  • Pets are not allowed

  • No pets are living on the property

Physical Distancing:

  • Social distancing protocols are followed

  • Contactless Check-in and Check-out service is available

  • Contactless Room service is available

  • Physical Barriers are deployed at appropriate places

  • Cashless Payment is available

ID Proof Related:

  • Aadhar, Driving License, Govt. ID and Passport are accepted as ID proof

  • Office IDs, PAN Card,s & Non-Govt IDs are not accepted as ID proof(s)

  • Local IDs not allowed
